Job Summary

Syx-Brij Nigeria Limited is seeking a skilled Customer Care Representative who will ensure that each patient interaction reflects Adia Hospital’s dedication to high-quality healthcare and exceptional service.

Job Overview

The Customer Care Representative will act as the first point of contact for patients and visitors, offering essential information, support, and guidance. This role demands excellent communication skills, a patient-centered approach, and the ability to handle various inquiries with empathy and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities

  • Warmly greet patients, families, and visitors, assisting with inquiries, check-ins, and directions.
  • Handle incoming phone calls, addressing general inquiries and directing calls to appropriate departments.
  • Support patients with appointment scheduling, registration, and billing inquiries.
  • Address patient concerns and complaints promptly, escalating issues to management when necessary.
  • Clearly communicate hospital policies and procedures to patients and visitors.
  • Update patient records, contact information, and assist in gathering required paperwork.
  • Work collaboratively with medical staff and other departments to ensure smooth patient flow.
  • Maintain confidentiality and protect sensitive patient information in all interactions.
  • Promote a welcoming and safe environment in line with the hospital’s mission.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a customer service role, particularly in healthcare, is advantageous.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a genuine desire to assist others.
  • Ability to handle stressful situations professionally with a positive attitude.
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with hospital management systems is preferred.
  • Bilingual skills are beneficial.
