Job Title: Front Desk Manager (Night Manager)
Key Responsibilities:
Operational Oversight & Guest Services:
- Support the Front Office Manager in overseeing front desk operations, including Bell/Door Staff, Switchboard, and Guest Services.
- Manage daily operations to ensure brand standards are met and guest expectations are exceeded.
- Ensure a seamless check-in/check-out process and provide outstanding customer service.
- Address and resolve guest concerns, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty.
Leadership & Staff Supervision:
- Lead and supervise team members, ensuring high-performance standards and adherence to hotel policies.
- Act as a role model by demonstrating professionalism, integrity, and teamwork.
- Provide coaching, feedback, and training to promote growth and service excellence among staff.
- Foster a positive work environment based on mutual respect and collaboration.
Customer Satisfaction & Quality Assurance:
- Empower team members to deliver exceptional service and anticipate guest needs.
- Conduct regular guest interaction to gather feedback and ensure satisfaction with service levels.
- Emphasize continuous improvement and customer-centric service delivery.
Policy Enforcement & Compliance:
- Monitor adherence to property policies, credit policies, and operational procedures.
- Implement guest recognition and service enhancement programs.
- Ensure compliance with safety, security, and operational standards.
Human Resources Support:
- Participate in recruitment, onboarding, and training of new team members.
- Support employee engagement initiatives and address staff concerns through an open-door approach.
- Assist in disciplinary procedures and employee development plans.
Administrative Functions:
- Manage Front Desk shifts and perform front desk duties as needed.
- Analyze operations and guest trends to recommend improvements.
- Maintain timely and effective communication with peers, executives, and subordinates.
Candidate Profile:
Education & Experience Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED with a minimum of 2 years of experience in front desk or guest services operations. OR
- Associate’s degree (2 years) in Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or a related field with no prior experience required.
