We are currently seeking to hire a dynamic and results-driven individual for the position below:

Job Title: Sales Executive

Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time


Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and approach prospective clients in need of cloud-based IT solutions, including Microsoft technologies, via research, referrals, and cold calls.
  • Segment leads into hot, warm, and cold categories based on need, budget, and buying power.
  • Convert inbound leads into qualified sales opportunities through strong relationship-building and consultative selling.
  • Address customer inquiries and escalate complex concerns to the appropriate internal team members.
  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of Velvot’s products and services, especially Microsoft offerings and licensing models.
  • Analyze competing cloud products to inform sales strategy and position Velvot’s solutions effectively.
  • Create and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals tailored to the specific needs of each client.
  • Consistently meet or exceed assigned sales targets and KPIs in alignment with the company’s objectives.
  • Collaborate with team leads to set personalized KPIs and track performance.
  • Engage with hardware vendors to maintain productive partnerships and streamline procurement.
  • Conduct proactive outreach to upsell and cross-sell services to current and potential clients.
  • Coordinate with the accounts department to issue invoices, purchase orders, and quotes.
  • Demonstrate continuous learning by passing at least one Microsoft certification exam each month.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (BSc) in any relevant discipline.
  • 2 – 3 years of professional experience in sales, preferably within the tech or cloud services industry.
